Abstract Guidelines
Researchers from Academia and Industry are invited to submit their Abstracts electronically as a word file (.doc or .docx) by following the link ‘Abstract Submission’. After the successful submission of an Abstract, the corresponding author will automatically receive a confirmation e-mail. While submitting their Abstracts, authors should choose a topic, indicate whether they wish to participate in the Congress with an oral or poster presentation and if they are interest to participate to the contest.

Guidelines
Authors are requested to submit their Abstract(s) in both Greek (non-Greek native speakers please contact: 18pes@entsoc.gr) and English. Each abstract length should not exceed one page (2 pages in total).
- General Font type: Arial
- Format A4
- Upper and lower margin 3 cm, other margins 2.5 cm.
- Title (12pt, bold, centered)
- Author names (12pt, bold, centered, in capitals). Speaker’s name underlined. Include corresponding author’s e-mail address.
- Affiliations (10pt, italics, centered)
- Two lines free (12pt) between the title and authors names, one line between authors’ names and affiliations and again two lines between affiliations and the abstract.
- In the abstract use single line spacing (12pt).
- No intervals placed between paragraphs. Indentation 0.5cm in the beginning of each paragraph.
Furthermore, authors are highly encouraged to consider the following guidelines concerning the presentation procedures of both oral and poster presentations during the Congress:
- Oral presentation: Each speaker should complete his/her presentation within 12 minutes. Discussion will follow for about 3 more minutes (15 min for each presentation in total). Each attendee can participate with only one (1) oral presentation, as well as with several poster presentations.
- Poster presentation: The dimensions of the posters should not exceed 120 cm x 85 cm (height x width). Authors are responsible for the placement of their poster(s) on the relevant numbered stands in the Poster’s Hall.
The official language of the Congress is Greek. Presentations of International speakers will be presented in English without translation.
Acceptance Terms: All submitted abstracts should contain original scientific data and be prepared according to the guidelines. Importantly, authors are requested to submit their abstracts till the announced deadline for Abstracts Submission. At least one author for each abstract should register on-line, in order the Abstract to be included in the Symposium’s book of abstracts.
