ENTOMOLOGICAL SOCIETY

Regarding the H.E.S.

The purpose of the Entomological Society is to promote the Science of Entomology.

In particular, the E.E.E. is interested in and cares for the development of entomology in Greece, the expansion and dissemination of knowledge concerning the existence, dispersal, ecology, physiology, ethology and in general the life of insects and mites and other arthropods, especially those that are harmful to plants, animals, agricultural products and humans. It is also interested in the study of beneficial and productive insects, their pests and diseases, and in the protection of the environment from the irrational use of all kinds of insecticides, insecticides and other chemicals.

It is also interested in cooperating with similar scientific organisations at home and abroad and in the scientific advancement of its members.
