MEMBERS

Regular members are graduates of national or foreign universities or equivalent higher schools of national or foreign countries, who have a postgraduate degree in entomology, acereology, plant protection or a related biological discipline on entomology, or have worked for at least two (2) consecutive years full-time in entomological research, or entomological responsible applied work in recognized institutions or services.

Exceptionally, and by decision of the Board of Directors, graduates of agricultural or other sciences, or non-graduates of higher education institutions, who after notable relevant entomological work documented by relevant publications, or relevant papers, may be considered as entomologists, or academicians, may become full members.
Also, graduates of the above Higher Educational Institutions, or equivalent faculties of the above scientific disciplines, after completing at least one year of postgraduate studies in entomology, or acereology, certified by an official certificate, can become full members of the company. The above full members are referred to as ‘student members’.

Please use the registration form in order to submit it electronically accompanied by a short CV. Alternatively, please send a registration form and supporting documents to [email protected]. Prospective members submit their application, a process of approval or rejection by the Board under the bylaws follows, and applicants are notified of the decision. If the application is accepted and after notification, to complete the process, the new member must deposit the registration fee (10 euros) in the bank account of the NEC according to the instructions given below in the membership fee payment.
